When dealing with real US suppliers, sometimes things change.
A product goes out of stock, becomes discontinued, or something else changes that requires you to make an update to your store.
The DropCommerce app Issues section makes it really easy to handle these situations.
Just navigate to Imports => Imported To Store => Issues, and we'll pull a report of any items that need attention.
With a click of a button, you can resolve the issue by choosing one of the following options:
When troubleshooting, remember to verify the platform where edits are made to ensure consistency during syncing.
Sync - This button will re-upload all the variants for this product from scratch, using your default pricing rules in DropCommerce. This fixes most product sync issues and can be extremely helpful, without having any effect on your product details like Title, Description, and Category, etc.
If edits made in DropCommerce do not save, ensure you are not editing directly in Shopify, as changes made there may not sync back.
Delete - This option simply deletes the product from your Shopify store and your DropCommerce account. Use this when an item is no longer available, or if you just want to remove it from your store.
What if the Issues Section doesn’t solve your problem?
If the Issues section does not address the sync issue, double-check that all products were successfully moved from your Import List to the store. If your "Imported To Store" list is still empty, try re-importing products or contact DropCommerce support for assistance.
What to do with out of stock items?
Because inventory does fluctuate, and products go in and out of stock over time, it's your choice as to whether you want to remove a product entirely from your store when it's out of stock, or if you just want to wait until it goes back in stock. If you wait our system will update the inventory when it's available again.
If you notice products are missing from your "Imported To Store" list, it could indicate an incomplete import. Re-importing products or refreshing the list may resolve this.
